I've been thinking a lot about my goals for 2012....I have always hated "new years resolutions" because I, for one have never stuck to them....but it seems like people set a resolution, then when they dont stick to it, they give up. Thats why I am setting goals for the whole year...and not resolutions.

With my new job it seems like I am spending ALOT more time at work, and that is different for me...I am missing my family...and I am super tired.

But I know that one of the reasons I am SO tired is because I am not taking care of my body. Since 2005...I have gained almost 70 pounds, and as of right now, I am not exercising regularly, I am not drinking water...and I am making poor food choices. I want to be healthy...and I want to be thinner...but I am SO addicted to food.

In our womens group at church right now we are learning about living the healthy life...mind, body and spirit...and I want to commit to living healthier...not just losing weight. I need to drink 130 ounces of water a day...and I need to be active EVERY SINGLE DAY. And I know that I can...as long as I rely on the Lord...and not my own will.

I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength


  • I will drink 130 ounces of water every day
  • I will be active every day
  • I will not reward myself with food
  • I will not comfort myself with food
  • I will comfort myself with the Lord
  • I will try to make good food choices

Goals for 2012

I cant believe that it's 2012! I have a TON of goals that I want to accomplish this year....and I am GOING to keep up with them...so here we go.
  1. Blog at least once a week
  2. Take more pictures of things and people I love
  3. Be healthy
  4. Lose at least 30 pounds
  5. Show my husband how much I love and respect him EVERY single day
  6. Take my husband to a NEW YORK JETS football game (which is easier this year becuase they play seattle....in seattle :) )
  7. Save at least 500 dollars
  8. Do something active at least twice a week
  9. Read at least 6 books
  10. Read my bible every day

I have a ton more....But I thought I would list 10 a day for a few days :)

Wow!!!!!!!! Its 2012! I cant believe it! 2011 was a good year....but there were a TON of changes for our family! I know that God has amazing things planned for us in this coming year....but now the hard part is sitting back and trusting Him with it all!
